Since Dec. 31, Herbert Jones has seen quite the uptick in his 3-point shooting. Jones is shooting 56% (26-of-45) from distance in his past 12 games -- the best amongst players with at least 40 three-point attempts in that stretch. Jones shot 33.7% and 33.5% in his first two seasons, but he's up to 37.8% this season. Add this type of shooting to his all-world defense, and Jones will continue his ascension as one of the more intriguing two-way players. -- Lopez
So far in 2024, Herb is the best 3-pt shooter in the league

As AD said last night, Herb had one of the quietest 22 point game on 8-9 shooting ever b/c his highlights were back to back awesome defensive plays capped off by a behind the back no look pass to Zion for a dunk.
He keeps up this shooting and he will without a doubt have the most team friendly contract in the NBA.
I used to think Trey would take the starting role from him eventually, but that seems very unlikely now.
I wonder if that is somethign Trey is starting to realize and could be a reason for his struggles lately. You know he wants to start and wants to perform well so he can get that next contract, and he's simply not going to break into our starting lineup with our current roster.
