i don't think Barbie gets best production design .... based on toys and was designed by a Brit and filmed in London.
Jack Fisk ... a legend in the design world and previous winner takes it for KOTFM
And Da'vine JR from the Holdovers is taking the best supporting actress easily
Poor things for Costumes ... Napoleon is same old same old and recieved tepid reviews. Poor things was actual design, not recreated, albeit accurate period garb.

Robbie should have got the nom over the chick from Nyad, which was objectively terrible. But Greta didn't stand a chance with best director. The more surprising thing is that Ferrera/Gosling got noms, Ferrera especially was just bad and almost torpedoed the movie.
Maestro was soooo bad, I can only imagine what Netflix had to spend to get it nominated so much
ETA I agree with others that Godzilla should have got more recognition, the score especially was great
