Had two TO’s in a playoff game where all you need is a FG and you try to take them home with you.

The chances aren’t good, but it’s possible to time up the snap and get the ball on the ground - I understand in week 3 but it’s a bad look in the playoffs.

The chances were extremely minute, but I can't fathom not going ahead and calling them in a playoff game down by 3 in a torrential downpour. Anything could have happened in that weather.

Actually I think they were set up well with the 3 timeouts at the end. They could use them with passes over the middle of field. Love just made a terrible decision

I thought the same thing, especially in the pouring rain.

I thought Green Bay may have intentionally made a half hearted attempt to stop a SF touchdown once the ball made it inside the 10 yard line. Preserve time and time outs to get a game tying FG and take chances in OT. Green Bay only needed 25-30 more yards before Love made that terrible throw.

yeah, that was really idiotic of the guy to not use a TO or 2, but really they had enough time on the clock with slightly over a minute to win it if not tie it. They had all 3 TOs because he didn't use any, so, they could have easily marched the down the field to win it. Big plays in this league happen all the time, so, all it takes is 1 WR breaking a tackle and running for 40 yards to get into the red zone. But I was more disappointed in Love because I thought the kid had turned the corner. The second half of the season and against Dallas he looked like a really good and efficient QB now, but he sucked yesterday throwing terrible passes. The last one, the INT, was a wounded duck of a pass that he had no business whatsoever throwing. SMH

It's not like they ran out of time. If they had used the timeouts when SF had the ball then turned it back over they still would've lost.

The strategy was fine. The decision making of the young QB was not.

He wasn't expecting Love to make dumbass throws to ruin his team's chances.

Did they run out of time?

People freak out to much about finishing a game with timeouts in your pocket

The TOs aren’t the reason the lost the game. It’s the lack of points in the 4th quarter. QB can allow his team to put up a goose egg in the most important quarter and expect to win.
