Loyalty for the most part was always manufactured by the rules. Kids weren't going to transfer if they had to sit out. Kids would have done the same thing 5 years ago if they could have.

I think a big part of it is Bama was able to not pay nearly as much for top players because Saban was there. Players were willing to take less to be under Saban. But with him gone, they want their payday and Bama isn't equipped to do that right now to that level for all these players.

Kids and parents are pissed off that saban tried to trick them. Now it's F you time. It's burning to the ground.
