Look, it is costing us billions to house illegals and give them $2K each time they cross. You are just going to have to suck it up and pay a toll so they can come here and get free healthcare too.

There will probably have to be a toll free alternative to crossing the Calcasieu River if the feds agree to tolling a new I-10 Calcasieu River bridge.

The Republican legislature has refused to increase the fuel tax, so no, you're basically taxed for maintenance of the existing system.
