Tupelo is big enough where you can find decent shopping, nightlife, local restaurants and chain restaurants without driving to the city but small enough to not feel congested and crowded. Definitely plenty of hunting in the immediate area. Also good fishing/boating not far away at Pickwick, Bay Springs lake, lake Sardis, lake Enid.

Yeah I saw someone say there’s nothing to do there but I’ve always found plenty to do
