This is what I was thinking. It's totally possible that I need +/- a half inch or so.

To everyone else, I have to buy clubs. I already sold my old ones. The question is whether to just pick them off the shelf, or go through with fitting.

I don't think fitting actually costs anything, does it? I just assumed it was part of the sales process.

In that case, yes, go ahead and get a set that fits you. It shouldn’t cost anything at most places, or they charge you $100 and put that toward the sale if you get something.
