I think he wants to immediately jump back into a major conf. But I also think he will be selective and look for the right opportunity. I know he is from Nashville (and maybe home is a big pull for his family) but I don't think he looks at the Vandy job as the right opportunity. Wade knows NIL is paramount and I believe there are questions that Vandy is willing to fully invest in that game.
Louisville is going to be the top job. I think Wade will want to be in the running, but I would bet they have their sights set higher than Wade (namely, Chris Beard). Clemson would obviously have some intrigue for him. Oklahoma St. may be a dark horse because they have some tradition and some money. The Big 12 is going to be an afterthought in football moving forward, but it should still be a really good basketball conference with the likes of Kansas, Houston, Baylor, Arizona, etc,
Given the jobs likely to become available, I think Clemson and OSU will be the most realistic
