Yep
Took a very, very nice voluntary severance package at the age of 52 and did not have a job in hand.
Three things played into that.
1. I had faith that God would guide my path forward.
2. I had full support of my spouse that I would find work sooner than later, and I did.
3. I was 100% burned out with my current job/employer.
Leaving after 30 years saved my sanity and ended up being a huge windfall on the $$ side.
Thank you "spouse" and God for supporting my decision.
