Ducks will be paired off within 2 weeks of the current end of the season...30 days later than that would have a seriously negative impact on breeding. I have heard it from Southern California to Georgia and Florida but it would be a seriously bad idea to hunt ducks on any scale that late in the season on the southern fringe of the wintering grounds.

They kill ducks well into February in Mexico. Get ducks.com offers a Valentines vacation at a resort where you can legally shoots 20 ducks or 100 shot shells, whichever comes first. I guess now we can blame Mexico too for the duck shortage?
