Deer season is based on rut and subsequently fawns being self sustainable.
Also, in many parts of the state, bucks start losing antlers late Feb
Now as for ducks? I agree however it’s a federal issue and since the feds are most interested in stifling its citizens I wouldn’t expect any relief

So deer is set up to sustain the population, but we don't have a later duck season because "fedz is bad"?!
Some of you must wake up and suck on an exhaust with the dumb crap that is said on here.
