Landry backed a map. There isn’t enough time for the legislature to buck him and pass their own map, have him veto it, then override the veto or try another map.

They have one shot and it only works if they pass the map he is backing.

Landry is the head of the Republicans in LA now. The legislature is going to do his bidding.
