Stingley was an LSU prodigy. As a young kid he dreamed of coming to LSU and yes he loved Aranda.

You are right about Ricks also. He was always coming to play for Orgeron since USC camp days as a young kid.

Raymond’s last few classes were not that great. He missed on some big targets like Surtain, D. Ricks, etc. He also missed on some big targets at UF. All the while the on the field results at both LSU and UF have been abysmal even with Stingley, Ricks, and Flott on the same field.

Stingley decommitted and almost committed to Florida at one point.

Corey was still the defensive backs coach and Ricks was elite with him here.

The Surtain miss was because of Juluuke and Craig literally going behind the LSU staff's back (while still on staff) and telling him to go elsewhere while continuing to lead us on.

D. Ricks,
Ricks was in last years class? Corey was already gone at that point.

Yes, but the teams themselves were terrible. 2020 LSU was running an antiquated defense that was never actually installed because the defensive coordinator didn't care to coach. 2021 LSU had those 3 on the field together for a total of 3 games. That includes the UCLA loss which is the worst defensive gameplan (outside of MSU 2020) that I've ever seen.

Then we get into the Billy Napier era of Florida that has been an absolute failure from top to bottom. I don't know how you can single out the cornerbacks coach for the entire program's failure.

Look, I'm not the biggest Corey Raymond guy, but pretending he was a shitty coach and recruiter his entire time at LSU is just false.
