Why? Outside of Lacy we have nothing proven and Lacy’s not even a bonafide #1. We need good WRs to help out our new QB.

Hilton is a legit deep threat and if he stays healthy he will be good. But that’s the problem you need him to stay healthy. This guy brings an immediate experienced deep threat. SEC is a grind man, great pickup.

It completes the offense for 24. We now have a true number 1 style receiver with experience. Now let's see if Sampson can beat him out. There is no glaring weakness of any kind on this offense now.

Cortez Hankton is one of the best WR coaches in the country. If he thinks the kid can contribute, then I’ll trust his and Brian Kelly’s judgment on it.

He's arguably the top WR in the portal and an elite guy. You dont turn him down especially with the inexperience in our WR room. He could very easily be the #1 guy.
