I’d definitely recommend Erie over Devils lake if the volume and size of fish matter.


Right now, there isn’t a lake in the world that can touch Erie on walleye. My ex and children live just south of Cleveland which is why I’m up there so often but I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Plus, charters are relatively cheap. $400-600 per day for up to 4 people. That’s not per person, that’s total, and on damn good boats. I don’t think there is anywhere else a group of four can fish 7 hours for $100 each plus tip.
