9° is no big deal if it’s dry. People in LA aren’t smart enough to drive in perfect conditions, do you really want to get out on the road if it’s icy?

Plus we aren’t equipped to handle icy roads and bridges like places up north that regularly deal with icy roads.

I remember back in 2008 when it snowed around BR. Some dude called 98.1 and asked for the number to call to get a snowplow to his street.

No disagreement but the residents of this welfare state want to not go to work when the temperature drops below 40 degrees
