Really? Because post portal/NIL Saban (you know, when he could no longer stock pile players and everyone else could start doing what he was always allowed to get away with) he really hasn’t been all that impressive.
I’m sure many will just go “but muh championships” and look no further into it than that and that’s fine, but an actual deep dive into his career shows that when he didn’t have the talent upper hand, he really wasn’t all that and a bag of skittles.

Saban brought a team with a pretty crappy QB to the CFP and lost to the eventual champion in overtime. As much as I hate Alabama and Saban that is impressive
