In my opinion that's why they charged him so hard even though he was only driving. I also think unfortunately it's also only going to add to the idiotic narrative of "this is only a story because it involves a pretty white girl and black guys", especially if he gets immunity in exchange for testifying against the other defendants.

I don't think the 28 year old uncle Lee who was in the car has ever been charged with anything.. Maybe he's going to be a state's witness?

Do you honestly think anyone would care about this case if the victim wasn't a sorority girl at LSU?
