You can also buy cheap wolf ammo in 6.5G that you can buy in 6.8spc. Also you can make 6.5G brass from plentiful 7.62x39. 6.8 is a fatter, but lighter bullet that doesn’t penetrate as well, and with this range of muzzle energy on hog and deer sized animals you want more penetration. Plus just look at the cases side by side… the 6.8 with its short bullet looks like a scaled up .223 while the Grendel has that long sexy bullet. Winner Grendel.

Yeah so? Some people don't want their rifle to look like a long pool stick when they hunt w a suppressor. These calibers have their pluses & minuses but to blindly say Grendel is better ballistics w/o noting the need for a longer barrel is misleading. And yeah the name Grendal is sexier.
