I love this caliber for anything up to about 150 pounds out to 150 yards.
The ruger ranch is nice. Maker rex bullets to hunt with.

I have a Ruger American 300 blk out for my kids. They’ve killed a pile of deer with it and we’ve never lost one. Use hand loads my buddy makes and they essentially fragment inside so there is massive devastation but little blood most of the time
