If I was a big-time coach, the only way I'd jet for Bama is if I was at a C level program where it's obvious you would never have a chance at a championship. Think Vandy, Kentucky, Purdue, Kansas, Indiana, Wake Forest, Syracuse Cal, etc.
The issue here is almost zero chance Bama even considers a coach from any of these schools.
