My oldest was never violent at home, or ever got mad at anything really. When he started daycare (at 3) he was hitting kids, throwing chairs, screaming at teachers, pissing in toy boxes (yes, really). I still remember the first call I got from the daycare, I thought they had the wrong parent.
Being new parents, we freaked, took him to be tested for ADHD, he showed signs and they wanted to medicate. We didn’t, and suffered through a few years of holding our breath. By 8, he was better, 9 even better, 10 he was never in trouble again.
