People are going to clown this because “libs” and “Cali sucks” etc etc but this is the correct move and honestly the NFL should push this agenda to all states.

Kids at that young of an age do not need to tackle each other. They can learn more about the game from playing flag and understanding basic fundamentals. Plus, it keeps dipshit POS coaches away who harm these kids because they only care about their past glory.

The NFL should have a bottom up referee system that trains and promotes the best. They should be coaches out on the field, because real coaches will always push the rules to win…unfortunately. Teach kids what holding is, team them what pass interference is…hold the coach accountable for his players breaking rules. Don’t glorify plays that were poor form at best…and against the defined rules at worst.

It is, but this is also the same state that would allow kids under 12 to change their gender without their parents being involved so....
