I've used Trader Joe's and the deli at Alexander's will sell you fresh dough. Have also made my own, and they all came out great. But the best dough I've found is
Brooklyn Pizza Dough (frozen)
It was just better than anything I made or bought in town fresh. Both Alexander's and Calandro's used to have it in there frozen section, but neither has stocked it for a while.
