This team plays hard and fast. They have great ball movement. They are relentless on defense… the only thing that is lacking right now is controlling the boards.

The season rises and falls with Cook. When he’s running the point it’s a completely different team.

That was the type of coach he is. Maybe he needed to get the right type of players.

Yeah…not really. They are near the bottom of the SEC in assists per made baskets. Tonight was really bad offense in terms of ball movement. Of which there was very little. The starting 5 had 6 assists…combined.

A win is a win. You take it. But they didn’t play very well as a team tonight. Their own HC called it “ugly”.

Since SEC play started they have cut down on TOs which was killing them, those empty possessions and unforced TOs were a big reason for struggles in OOC games, also their rebounding has improved and those 2 areas of improvement have made all the difference in performance
