Maybe Blake gonna get some help from Mizz DT room, CBK has to have a plan for that DT attrition

If he had a plan he would have hit the portal. The next portal opening has the backups that can’t make a starting position at their current school. He doesn’t have a plan.

If everyone that is melting, goes and joins the $20 a month Bayou Traditions plan, then maybe we can buy two D Lineman in the Spring portal window.

Any healthy flag line girls looking to make a difference for their school?

I mean, we really didn’t have a DL this entire past year. It really can’t get any worse.
This can’t be serious? It definitely can get worse and without some major things happening it will get worse. We are currently looking like we’ll have 4 scholarship DTs on the team next year. None have ever played well at the FBS level. Mingo was a stud and Maason looked pretty dang good before his injury. Most big guys take more than a year to come back from that type of injury. Returning both of them would’ve been huge from a talent and depth standpoint.

This situation is beyond ridiculous and I would fire the entire staff cause if it. Get a damn DL coach and get players. Or hit the road. Sick of it

I’m celebrating. You Nancy’s need to grow a pair. Smith was awful and to act like this news is devastating is hilarious. Wingo is the only one that hurts and he regressed this year from last year

Sometimes I wonder what some of you are watching. Our defensive line was playing well in the back half of the season. You get the goofiest narratives on here. I was arguing with a guy earlier who doesn’t think the 2019 dline was a great one. I get that you could have that opinion, bad as it is, when the season ended, but after they moved on to the NFL and four or five of them earned starting jobs in their rookie camps?!!! When six of them made regular season NFL rosters?!! But there are dozens of guys who still think that.

Please tell me anything about the DTs on the roster. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
I love how the narrative is “Smith was awful” now. He’s a huge player coming off an ACL tear. He was very likely going to be good next season and started showing flashes.

I’m telling you that Smith is NOT a loss. Smith is nothing but a body out there. He is slow and gets pushed around every game. Wingo is a loss. Hopefully with Baker and a stud D-line coach we can get Womack and others elevated

So again you know nothing about the depth behind them. You hated what we had? The talent behind them is worse.

You do realize we have another transfer portal round to go through right? If we have the right coaches hired at that time (and all signs point to that being the case) there will be several really good d linemen leaving other schools with the sole purpose of coming to LSU.

You can fall off the ledge if you want. Smith was terrible and if you have some proof that he wasn’t then present it, because the only series I saw him do squat all year was the last couple in our bowl game. He is Slow and apparently doesn’t know how to use proper pad level because he is pushed around by whoever is on the other side of him

Hill has transferred to Oregon State. We only have 5 DTs on our roster
Guillory (A career backup who has been getting pushed around for 3 years)
Lee (A Career bench warmer)
Washington (A JuCo transfer)
McKinley (5 Star True Freshman)
Johnson (3 Star True Freshman)
It’s absolute malpractice how poorly this coaching staff has managed the DL and Secondary

Maason was starting to play better and will be missed next season
