Thanks for the info. Using that logic, it is possible that Artemis 2 and 3 could be totally scrubbed?
Like they are trying to play catch up with something that they cant catch
Is that situation, trying to use old technology, a function of funding or just old people not wanting to change?

I know ow you're not asking me but I don't think Artemis 2 and 3 will be scrubbed. They'll use the SLS for the first few missions at which point I think the duties will go completely to SpaceX or maybe a combo of spacex and some of its competitors. SLS is the last rocket that NASA will own and operate imo. They're basically out of the rocket game at this point and will be purely a research agency, which is probably for the best.
