I don't know how smart a cow is but I do know this. I once saw a cow laying behind another cow that was standing, and the standing cow shite all over the one that was laying under its arse.
That sounds like a pretty dumb frickin' animal to me.

I was around goldies growing up, I would not hesitate to say they are dumber than squirrels.
