I don't know why, but over here in NW Florida, my garden has it going on. I am picking green beans that are 7-8" long. My cucumbers are 4" long and 3/4" diameter, tomatoes are loaded, peppers setting fruit, strawberries doing great, blueberries are loaded. Squash is taking it's time. Watermelon and cantaloupe starting to vine. Picked a 1 pound lion's mane mushroom the other day, and one shiitake yesterday.
It has been a nice spring with cool temps. Usually it is hotter here at this time of year. I wish it would stay like this forever.

My garden is looking nice, but i'm not seeing any bees whatsoever, and i normally have a ton.
I know there's a large hive 2 houses down and across the street from me.
When my redbud tree bloomed in February there were literallly 100's of honey bees and bumple bees on it.
I think the parish came and fogged the neighbor hood about a month ago and ever since then i haven't seen a bee, and i've got vegetables flowering, tons of other flowers as well as hummingbird feeders.
Hardly any of my tomatoes flowers are turning into tomatoes right now.
I also learnt about blight on potatoes, as this is my first go at growing taters. Got me some Copper Fungicide and they look better already.
