my lib, "pro science" cousin got pretty mad at me because i said something about off the ~38 year olds getting pregnant to be risky/not ideal as that came up in a conversation (i wasn't trying to poke any buttons or anything). he even tried to argue it a bit.
his wife was about that old when they had their kid but i figured he was rational enough to know that.

This is just silly (on their part).
Although I do wonder how our overall improving health (at least in this demo) will affect these things long-term.
If all of our health data improves and this remains a hard limit, that would be pretty devastating to professional women moving forward.
