Recruiting wasn’t the issue. Scheme, player development, and in game adjustments were deficient.
Coaching always will be the greater differentiator.

Recruiting definitely the biggest issue lol.
Not so much their fault given the lack of talent left over from the O era, but the defensive talent has not been streamlined fast enough especially at DT & CB/S.
Everyone wants an “attacking & aggressive defense!!!”.
Like this isn’t the goal with every defense lol. You know makes defenses fast and aggressive? Nfl players. Which lsu doesn’t have right now
