That would have been my first guess but the more I read about this stuff, the more it seems that women who initiate this typically don’t do it primarily for sex, while men almost always do it for sex.

If this is true across the board, I’d guess the men are probably going to end up with more partners. I suppose a comparison doesn’t really matter though since the marriage is effectively over anyway.
