What’s really sad is all of us arm chair QBs could see refusing to blitz all season was crazy… especially since the guy got paid millions to play a soft zone and send four down lineman every snap.
Insane it was allowed to go on all season.

Insane it was allowed to go on all season.
For example, we blitzed Milroe numerous times. On those plays, our DL were mad rushing up field, not maintaining their gaps, and leaving easy running lanes for Milroe. Against passing teams, we would blitz and have our DBs playing 15 yards off the ball allowing easy dump offs to make the blitz ineffective.
If you watched Michigan, when they blitzes Bama, their 4 DL maintained gaps and allowed the blitzer to go after Milroe without giving up huge open gaps for him to run into.
There is a reason the entire defensive staff was let go. None of them worked together.
