I humbly ask that we get some faster players as well especially in the back end.

I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on who the best DCs in the country are right now, but I thought thought UM tackled exceptionally well vs Bama. That alone made me think that Minter at the very least ensured that his players were fundamentally solid.

I want one that limits the amount of points the other team scores, how they do it is fine by me. Bend dont break is a great way to play nowadays. As far as pressure, I want to be disruptive with the DL in passing situations...I dont want to rely on heavy blitzes. Todays wideouts and QBs are just too good to leave them openings.

Pretty sure he’s mocking Coach O here, Rummy.

Dat four tree attacking aggressive style of defense we ran at usc and da Joe Brady offense.

It probably shouldn't, but it still blows my mind how dumb Orgeron was. He has the best job in college football. He was getting paid a shite load of money to just recruit and stay the hell out of the way. ALL he had to do was hire solid coordinators. He didn't have to game plan the offense. He didn't have to game plan the defense. He didn't have to call plays. But he couldn't even do that. He was dead set to run his "attacking four tree defense". If that meant hiring a DC who had not been in high demand in the college football marketplace for nearly a decade, so be it.

Even then, the 2019 season should have given a pretty hefty buffer to make a few mistakes. But he somehow managed to destroy that buffer by IMMEDIATELY taking the program to depths not seen in 20 years
