reading this thread it dawns on me that from my very first day as an office building employee I’ve always had a private office. Since I was 22 years old.
so I’ve never had a cubicle, but I’ve never worked anywhere that HAD cubicles

I've spent most of my career in a cube. I might be the only person that's doesn't really care much.
I'm in a private office now, but it's pretty shitty. Luckily, I'm not in it very much. The nicest office I ever had was also the lowest paying job I've had.
