Blows my mind how many people would make their day to day life significantly shittier for not that much more money.

15k doesn’t seem like much, but if you make 85k it’s a 17% increase…. Every year. Calculate a 17% increase of your current income and tell me you wouldn’t consider working less for that increase every year by trading your office for a cube.

I realize that this doesnt apply to those of us on this board, since we're all making north of 500k, but to many, an extra $1000+ a month could represent a significant upgrade to quality of life. that's a new truck note and a few tanks of gas.
