re: "Only LA guys"...I don’t understand this approach at all

Like someone else said, you are too nearsighted if you think this is done simply for these players. This is about the future and getting the local coaches, schools and younger kids to buy in....it will pay dividends later down the road.

I have said it before, A LOT of Bama's success was with LA boys playing well for them or simply NOT playing for LSU. There have been a lot of guys that Saban recruited to Bama that simply died on the vine but could have played larger roles due to our lesser talent at certain positions at the time but couldn't get on the field with Bamas talent in front of them.
