Harlem Berry is the highest-rated running-back in the 2025 recruiting cycle. He is set to announce his commitment on January 3rd (tomorrow), at the Under Armour All-American Game. LSU is his widely expected destination, with Florida once considered a second option… Now all signs indicate Texas has that role, from a very far outside looking in. If committed, he will be LSU’s second 5-Star of the 2025 Class.
*Important note, this is an all-eyes-on type of situation because Bryce Underwood is set to announce his commitment on January 6th (Mostly between LSU, Alabama, and Colorado). Securing Harlem Berry will not hurt our cause and pitch to the number 1 Quarterback prospect in the Country. Imagine… Kaleb Jackson, Caden Durham, Harlem Berry… Tiger fans have a lot of late Christmas gifts to look forward to.

Hope we get Berry
With Michigan going to the title game and multiple playoffs, I think Bryce goes there

Why can’t we parlay that shite too? We win a Natty and all hell breaks loose and our program implodes.

This isn’t selfish, but Bryce cares more about who and what system will develop him into the best version of himself, more than he prioritizes National Champions. Moreover, Michigan sorta threw in the towel with their QB commit they got. LSU, Alabama, and Colorado are the contenders here.

That would be pretty short-sighted and I'm fairly confident kids don't make these decisions just because one team went to the playoff. They are more concerned with playing time, coaching stability, NIL, and NFL exposure.

1. Michigan just grabbed a QB for 2025.
2. Harbaugh ain't sticking around.
3. Underwood has not shown significant interest in Michigan.
4. Heisman > Natty; and LSU has more Natties since 2010, since 2000, since 1950. Pick any time period since 1923.
5. Michigan is not QB focused. They are #74 in passing in 2023.

But remember, George MacIntyre is pretty much between LSU and Alabama at this point. And IF Alabama pulls Bryce Underwood away (which could happen - albeit a minor chance), that’s a wrap for us getting the 2nd Best QB prospect in the 2025 Class. And to be frank, it’s Bryce Underwood - George MacIntyre, and then everybody else…

It's Underwood
MacIntyre
A couple others
Everyone else.
And MacIntyre is going to need a couple of years I think. He's skin and bones.

Of course tomorrow is back-to-work retreat at a place with no reception. I'm gonna be sweating this one all day.

He could change his mind 4 or 5 times before 2025
