I used to vape (Juul). It's a mild stimulant. It helped me focus at work, a little... kind of like coffee. Outside of the fact that you're addicted to something and have to acquire it, I don't really perceive it as a major health risk for most people.
Ask yourself: do you see more people on oxygen tanks at trashy retail outlets, or more people on scooters?
I finally quit vaping (Juul, which is a high-nicotine option) on December 23rd because of one very specific potential health risk that I face personally. I have high blood pressure, and nicotine can raise blood pressure. But it's pretty mild, and temporary, and quitting vaping was one of several steps I took all at once to work on my condition.
Abstinence from vaping is not some litmus test for good health. There are valid reasons one might want to self-administer nicotine, and vaping is a pretty safe, clean way to do it.
And LMAO at the people worried about second-hand vaping. Second-hand smoke was already a pretty pussy thing to be worried about
