Yea, if a dude isn't very good but has awesome flashes in year 1, that's cool.

If a dude is only giving you glimpses but the other 99% of the time he's just an objectively bad QB, and year 3 is coming to an end, that's not good.


I've mentioned it once or twice and would ask again, who is the comp of a highly drafted dude who actually played his 1st 3 seasons and was never a top 20 QB, then eventually went on to become a really good and reliable QB.


You usually have a good idea by year 2 and basically every QB I can think of popped by year 3 of actual playing games.

I would say, his rookie year was basically a wash. Nagy didn't cater an offense to his strengths or help him out at all. I'm not sure any QB could have gotten any better in that situation.

Year 2, they were actively tanking with hardly any talent. Also they did not cater the offense for him until mid season.

This year Moore was awesome and I like Kmet, but they need more weapons. Also some interior O-line upgrades.
