There does seem to be a disconnect between what many of us see as a problem defense and special teams and what BK sees. Many have speculated that moves to fix or replace people would happen at various times. Outside of a few plays at the end of the game, I thought the defense looked bad. Special teams decision to field and run the ball from inside the ten, stepping out of bounds around the 10, decision to not either go after the punter or block so that they could down the punt,etc drove me crazy and didn’t resemble a good team. The defensive tackling looked worse than many high schools. The defensive backs look to be playing the same way they have all season, atrocious. Then comes BK who says the defense won the game at the end. No your offense scored enough points to overcome the sorry play of your special teams and defense. BK should be tired of looking at this as well. And he looks mad at times after some of this crap and occasionally has words with players and coaches in that mad state. But so far has not directly taken any action to address these obvious and glaring season long problems.
