I know I’m outing myself but I was listening to Timcast IRL last night and the guest for the might (who was actually the “don’t taste me bro” dude) and when they were talking about this he said “Chapelle made a joke about me while I was in the room,” which was fantastic considering he stole all his stuff from Owen Benjamin.
No idea if that true but it was a wild accusation.

I don't think Dave or Rickey or any professional comic is reading 4Chan for material. I think the overall point is that professional comedians should be able to come up with some better material than as random internet nerd 10 years ago. The thing is, it's safe to say these things now? It's actually lucrative.
