...will they ever recover? Considering the state of the auto industry and, well, the state of Matt Stafford, I'm confident that the team wouldn't be any good until years afterwards, in all likelihood after a move out of Detroit.

They need to empty wallets at Detroit are they will burn down the city. New coach, new players, they are the worst team I have ever seen play on any level, they need to hire a big name coach and get some primetime players in thier,

They will probably sign Cassel then draft a LT.

To be honest they have some pieces on that offenses. Calvin Johnson has been good this year and their group of running backs have been solid. Their problem has been line and QB play. Plus their defense.

With a new LT, good WR, good group of RBs plus another 1st round pick...

Seems like I heard he is leaning to coming back, but good lord...WRs are down this year and Harrell is a senior, correct?

What I've been saying. Him or Monroe. You could start working on the defense with that second first rounder.

This may sound batshit crazy, but if I was him I'd rather go to Detriot especially if they promised to draft a 1st round LT.

Smith would be a moron not to come out this season, especially with rumors of a cap next season. Then the lions throw the bank at him and a veteran QB.

Not a horrible idea to take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd if they get McNabb. If they get Cassel they can wait a year

i don't know

He's from the west coast, and sf has a pretty good line, not to mention a much better all-around team. SF would actually be the perfect spot for him if they choose to go after him.
