This could be pretty entertaining.
Got two Co-Coordinators on offense trying to make a case for the permanent promotion, and we got a freaking GUNSLINGER taking control of the offense at QB and I guarantee he can’t wait to remind us all why he had half the fan base calling for him to start this year over the Heisman winner.
And all against a pretty dam good defense.
I’m looking forward to it.
Then after that’s over with, I’ll be eagerly waiting to see what BK does with the defensive staff.

Plus an opportunity to see an actual running game with running backs

Good point. Hadn’t even thought about that.. I’m sure Josh Williams will get most carries out of respect.. as he well deserves.
But I’d love to see Kaleb Jackson and Trey Holly let loose!!

Obviously BK made the right decision and it worked out beautifully… but if you don’t think half the fan base was calling for Nuss to start before the season started, you have a very short memory.
Point is, the kids got a rocket launcher attached to his shoulder and he mixes that with OVERconfidence in himself and his receivers.. and that makes for a very entertaining show.

If lsu gives up less than 40 I'll be impressed.

Wisky +10 is a steal

Is there a RB on the roster that can dominate a game? If so, put them on the field.
The current RB by committee is nothing but a few handoffs a game to average SEC RBs.

I like Nuss. He's got a cannon for an arm. I'd like to see some improvement in accuracy, but that's just me. His progression in picking his receivers is good. Legs adequate.
He's had two years in the program.
He was patient, now it's his position to lose.
I wish him and the Tigahs good sailing.
Geaux Tigahs! Beat Wisky!

If wisky scores more than 30, I'll be impressed. As bad as our D was, your offense is just a fraction better than Iowa.

Oh exactly. I hated seeing Jayden run for 50-75 yards at the drop of a hat. We gotta do this by the book.

Never thought I would see the day that LSU would be playing on ESPN 2 for a bowl game. My, how we have fallen

Lol, please stop describing Nuss this way. It's not the compliment you think it is.

I hope we can run the ball vs a pretty good run defense when they know our QB may not be a real run threat. I think Nuss has wheels but we may not see them Monday.

I was ready for Nuss because I didn't think LSU could win 8 games with the 2022 version of JD, and I still thought I was right after the Fla St game, where I saw virtually no improvement over the 2022 JD.
Then something happened....I don't know exactly, but a light went on, and he became a completely different player. His long throws were no longer under thrown, he started seeing the field and open receivers, he started throwing slants accurately over the middle of the field, and he started throwing receivers open/on time rather than waiting until they were wide open. Then when he had to scramble, he was magic...not just pretty good, but better than anyone I had ever seen weaving through tacklers for huge gains.
In other words, he became the best player in college football, and that was a far cry from what he was in 2022.
So I make no apologies for not wanting to see the 2022 JD5 again, as it would delay the development of Nuss with a ceiling of 8 wins maybe in my opinion.
I don't think those that felt like that were wrong, and certainly those that wanted JD5 again had no idea what he was going to do in 2023.
Very thankful I got to watch that transition in JD5 and I now hope he has as successfuly career in NFL as he did this past year.
