Because only a REAL leader takes zero stock in the everyday pressures and obligations of lower level employees. I swear you people who simp for execs of multinational corporations are so bizarre.

Eh, I used to be one of the "well, the CEO has the most responsibility therefore they get the most money" type of people but that's faded fairly quickly over the last 5-10 years. The truth is that these companies don't give 2 fricks about their employees and they're not ashamed of it. Whether you want to admit it or not, there's a huge gap between even the top 3rd of these companies and those even in the middle, not just the bottom and it's growing every year.
If a CEO of one of these large companies fricks up and they get canned, they're handed 10's of millions of dollars then move on as CEO of another Fortune 500 company. They have far less to lose than the guy with a wife and 2 kids busting his arse making $55k/year.
...and I'm of the libertarian persuasion
