I really don't know where this sentiment is coming from. The purpose of the sport today is to entertain fans, not to cater to the athletes. They get free everything on campus and the highest social status imaginable. But they are portrayed as victims.

I wish the NFL would just open the draft to everyone over age 18. If you are too good to spend time on a college campus without a bidding war then just go pro and stop ruining the sport.

They absolutely should, and they should still have to sit out a year. No one wants to force kids to honor their commitment for 4 years at 18 years old, but it’s bullshite to allow instant transfers and combine it with the ability to openly bid for players via NIL.

The entire thing is stupid as frick and it’s almost like they’re intentionally trying to ruin college football in the same way they’ve ruined the NFL and a bunch of other classic American institutions.

If we are going to do like the pros, then Start treating these commitments like contracts. Should have to stay put at least two years unless health or coaching change. The pros dont' even practice this kind of free agency crap.
