Big difference with your arse on the line when the roster makeup has little chance to be successful because you have to eat dead money and you need to work through aging contracts; versus an opportunity where you get to work with a roster with some talent that needs a different direction and/or have some ability to mold the roster to your specific needs.

Sure but you’re acting like theres a wealth of NFL jobs and candidates can pick and choose. This isn’t linkedin or indeed. You want be a nfl head coach its slim pickings. You’re acting like no good coach will come here- fricking Sean Payton came here when the franchise’s city was completely devasted by a hurricane and had no idea where the football team would be. You really think dead money and aging contracts will affect a good coach not coming here lol
