I hate to one-up the good people of Ruston, but here in my citty we're getting a new full service Food City that sells gas.

Where in East TN or SW VA do you live? People who travel do not want to go into a grocery store to buy snacks or use the restroom. And those Food City builds are usually further in city’s not off 81 or 40 so not really the same business model.

There’s a significant difference between the “mom and pop” gas station employee and a buc-ee’s employee.
Probably has something to do with the pay.
I’m all for supporting mom and pops but most of them are run like crap.
