Chocolate isn't good for dogs, but it all depends on how much they consume.

Why even chance it ? There are so many other things you can feed man’s best friend that are 100% safe .

Peanut butter usually isn't a concern

Peanut butter is safe for dogs, and my dog used to live for peanut butter more than anything else on the planet .. my boy loved peanut butter as much as most of the baws on here love fricking their cousins .

What?

My dog got ahold to some chocolate awhile back and I called the vet. The first thing she asked me was how much, when I told her she then suggested that I keep a close eye on him because it wasn't that much, but if he started throwing up, etc then bring him in. Some not all amounts of chocolate is equal. So maybe my advice should have been for him to call his vet.

I never said anything is wrong with peanut butter, that's what I used to give both of my crazy arse dogs their meds. Most dogs love the hell out of peanut butter. Again, I am not sure what you perceived my post to say.
