He answers to the AD, BOS, and president of the University. Public opinion can eventually shape all of those. But what goes on here has very little impact.

Most people here seem to think that because they think something, that has to be what all fans think. Most of the very loud voices here do not reflect what most people I talk to think, often nearly the opposite.

Long and short, I think we agree. TD has little effect. The effect of public opinion can come into play but even that is slow in coming, in my experience.
